DJ Abstract started spinning when he was about seventeen years old. DJ Wheelz teached
him the basics at JACO (Jongeren Activiteiten Centrum Oost). Abstract did a lot of gigs
with the Groove Click and really got the hang of it. He has performed all across the
Netherlands at clubs like:
Paradiso (Storing, on a monthly basis),
Bitterzoet,
Melkweg,
013,
Volta,
Winston (Live on the low),
6-pack Café,
Café Sol,
Ministry,
Club XQ,
Escape and
Krater Theater.

At the age of eighteen Ab' began to produce beats with beatcreator computer Reason.
He was inspired by cats like Timbaland, the Neptunes, Oh NO, Madlib, Jay Dee, DJ Qbert,
DJ Craze and DJ Cash Money More and more mc's started to ask Abstract to do beats for
them and eversince he has been producing for Dirty Poets, Rome, Chico, Paytax, D-Strock
